Step 5 in detail: sitting a test
Five steps, each with its own time, set for every paper.
Step 1
Start
Open the test from My tests, read the instructions and confirm. A flexible test starts your own clock at that moment; a scheduled test runs to its fixed timetable, so joining late does not add time.
Step 2
Reading time
The question paper opens. Read it, understand the questions and plan your attempt. Writing has not started, and nothing can be submitted yet.
Step 3
Examination time
Writing time begins automatically when reading time ends. Write your answers on paper, as in the examination hall. You do not need to keep the page open. The page warns you with 30, 15, 5 and 1 minutes left.
Step 4
Upload window
When writing time ends, a short window opens only for scanning and uploading. Scan or photograph every page, combine them into one PDF, upload it, check the page count, confirm and make the final submission. You receive a submission ID.
Step 5
Evaluation and results
An evaluator checks your answer sheet question by question, rates each area from 1 to 5 with a remark, and uploads your checked copy. The Super Admin reviews the evaluation and publishes the result; only then can you see your marks, ratings, checked sheet and what to work on next.
The clock is the server's
Refreshing, closing the browser, signing out or changing your device's time does not change any of the times above. They were fixed on our server when you started.
If something goes wrong
The window closes automatically and cannot be extended from your side. If a genuine technical problem stopped you, use Request admin assistance. The admin team can grant a short, recorded extension; if the platform itself failed, everyone affected is extended together.
